For the month of October, we are recognizing Dyow Machado! Dyow is one of our Software Developers at CiiRUS, bringing the system to life behind the scenes. Thank you for all that you do, Dyow! We asked Dyow some questions for you all to get to know him better.
What's your favorite part of working at CiiRUS?
"My favorite part is having the freedom and the challenge to create truly creative solutions for complex technical problems. I am always looking for ways to innovate and optimize. I love the environment at CiiRUS that encourages me to learn and apply new technologies. My journey here has allowed me to delve deeply into AWS—from Lambda to CloudFormation, Dynamo, and Cognito—and more recently, automation tools like n8n. This constant evolution and the chance to apply what I learn to drive a tangible impact on our product's quality and efficiency is what motivates me the most."
What's a fun fact about you that people might not know?
"Most people at work might not know that I am a multi-instrumentalist musician. I play the keyboard, piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass, and I also sing. It’s a passion I pursue outside of code and automation, and I often play at my church."
What would your dream job be if you were not working at CiiRUS?
"If I weren't working at CiiRUS, my dream job would be a mathematics researcher and professor at a university. I’ve always been fascinated by mathematics—I even started a degree in the field—and I love the depth of research and the satisfaction of unraveling complex concepts. It would be the perfect combination of continuous learning, research, and the opportunity to pass that knowledge on."
For the month of September, we are recognizing Jennifer Jomuad with the Golden Pineapple award! Jen is our very talented and hard working Website Specialist. She is the force behind our exceptional customer website designs, consistently bringing your company's vision and brand to life with passion.
To get to know Jen a little better, we asked her our Golden Pineapple questions of the month:
What's your favorite part of working at CiiRUS?
"My favorite part of working at CiiRUS is the opportunity to grow my knowledge, especially when building websites. It challenges me to create designs that are unique for each client. Another favorite part of my job is the people I work with. The collaboration, support, and constant learning from one another, along with the culture of teamwork, keep me motivated."
What's a fun fact about you that people might not know?
"A fun fact about me is that I play guitar and enjoy sports such as basketball, pickleball, and table tennis. I also have a passion for music, love watching movies, enjoy riding motorcycles, and occasionally spend time cooking."
What would your dream job be if you were not working at CiiRUS?
"I’d love to be a chef. Cooking has always been something I enjoy, and being able to create dishes for others would be very fulfilling."
Our Golden Pineapple winner for August goes to... Joe Tyrrell! Joe is our Marketing Coordinator at CiiRUS, and his passion, drive, and desire to consistently keep learning and growing bring such a light to the company

What's your favorite part of working at CiiRUS?
"Learning new skills and being part of a family business because it means much more than just a job."
What's a fun fact about you that people might not know?
"I was a vocalist in a heavy metal band for year but gave that up when around the time I started working on a family."
What would your dream job be if you were not working at CiiRUS?
"My dream job would probably be a stay at home dad! That or maybe in a really successful touring band."
This month, our Golden Pineapple award goes to Marco Cardarelli! Marco is our Data Imports Lead for Onboarding at CiiRUS. Marco puts his all into his job and always has a strong passion for the work he is doing.
We asked Marco his favorite part of his job. He said "Honestly, I just like making things work—especially when they weren’t working before!" As for a fun fact, Marco says "I’m a big cat person and my tuxedo cat pretty much runs the house." And if Marco wasn't working at CiiRUS, he'd "probably be running a creative studio that blends AI, music, and multimedia."
This month, our Golden Pineapple winner is Kim O'Connor! Kim is our Finance Manager at CiiRUS; her commitment to her work and passion for her team make her a truly valuable member of our CiiRUS team.
"I love being able to research & resolve booking finance issues. I also love the flexibility with my schedule & the friendships I have developed."
"When I was in high school I raised cows, sheep & pigs. Even wore cowboy boots!"
"I would love to own a small used book store in a small town where everyone knows each other."
This month, we’re thrilled to recognize Bruno Matavelli, a Senior Software Developer on our development team, based in Orlando, Florida! Bruno's work ethic, commitment to excellence, passion for helping others, and his sense of humor make him a true asset to CiiRUS.
"I enjoy the creative freedom to design and implement solutions that actually improve things. It’s satisfying to see your ideas go from concept to live feature."
"I don’t like peanut butter, but I keep trying it because it shows up in so many healthy recipes and looks good - then it always ends up going to waste."
"I’ve never really thought about it, but running a private fishing charter or working as a ski patroller sounds pretty great - something active, outdoors, and far from a screen."
This month, we are so excited to recognize Antonio Kniss as our Golden Pineapple recipient! Antonio is a crucial member of our software development team and he pours so much into his work. Thank you for all that you do, Antonio!
"The best part of my job is the mix of creativity, flexibility, problem-solving, and teamwork. Every project is a new opportunity to design and build something intuitive and useful, and I get to do it with such a passionate and talented team—everyone is driven, and that energy creates an inspiring and motivating work environment."
"A fun fact about me is that in my early 20s, I spent six years working as a flight attendant, which allowed me travel the world and connect with so many different cultures. It was an unforgettable experience that really shaped how I see the world. These days, my adventures are a bit more local—usually involving a karaoke mic and a throwback playlist."
"If I weren’t working at CiiRUS, my dream job would be in aerospace engineering. I started pursuing a degree in that field but wasn’t able to complete it at the time. Ever since my years as a flight attendant, I’ve dreamed of helping design the next generation of airplanes—especially finding ways to make air travel more efficient and comfortable for everyone on board."
This month, we are thrilled to recognize Kate Stewart, an incredibly hardworking member of our Guest Relations team from Larne, Northern Ireland, UK. Kate's intelligence, dedication to her work, and her sense of humor make her a standout member of our team at CiiRUS!
"One of the things I love about working at CiiRUS is the fact that I enjoy working alongside everybody else in the company - it's a pleasure to come to work and we all have the same mindset of doing our best for our clients/customers. It's a family atmosphere with professional people."
When asked what her dream job outside of CiiRUS would be, she shared that she would have loved to be a jockey or live on a horse ranch!

"If I weren’t working at CiiRUS, my dream job would be to become a teacher! However, I followed my parents' wishes and pursued a Business degree instead. As a result, I’ve been working in BPO companies ever since."
Even though her career path led her elsewhere, her passion for learning and helping others still shines through in her incredible work at CiiRUS.
