In this week’s CiiRUS Team Member Spotlight, meet Onboarding Success Manager, Basil Maher. Let’s get to know Basil as he shares some insight about himself, his role at CiiRUS, and more.
Briefly describe what your role is at CiiRUS.
My role at CiiRUS is twofold in that I help integrate new clients into our system by educating and training them on our platform, as well as acting as their account manager by liaising with our team on their behalf -- ensuring they have a successful onboarding journey.
What’s the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is working with a variety of people from different parts of the world.
What does your workspace look like?
I am currently working from home, which contains all the things I love and cherish most.
What has been one of your proudest moments working at CiiRUS?
My proudest moment while working at CiiRUS was the day I successfully conducted the first training session on my own. Now I'm working with management companies of all shapes and sizes helping them to grow their businesses through our platform.
What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?
I enjoy spending time with my animals, listening to new wave 80’s music, and watching TV sitcoms.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by helping people. It gives me great satisfaction to assist others in any way I can.
What is something you learned in the last week?
I learned about Task Manager, a wonderful feature that helps PMCs streamline their housekeeping, maintenance, and inspections within our system, making operational tasks easier to manage and execute.
If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?
I would love to have the power to read people’s minds so I can better understand what someone is going through firsthand.
How do you define success?
I define success as knowing who you are and being happy with yourself.

Communication is your strongest tool.
