Here at CiiRUS, the greatest pleasure of what we do is in building relationships with customers and partners. After all, the travel and hospitality industries revolve around relationships and quality service. We’d like you to meet and get to know the amazing people behind the scenes who help make CiiRUS the leader in vacation rental software.
In this week’s CiiRUS Team Member Spotlight, meet Web Developer, Antonio Kniss. Let’s get to know Antonio as he shares some insight about himself, his role at CiiRUS, and more.
Briefly describe what your role is at CiiRUS.
My role at CiiRUS consists of creating and building new websites for CiiRUS clients, and I also take part in website development for major CiiRUS initiatives like Love Rentals and HomeBeds.
What’s the best thing about your job?
I have the freedom to be creative and implement new ideas for our customers. And I get to learn something new every single day!
What does your workspace look like?
Currently being fortunate enough to work from home, I've set up shop in my bedroom. My desk setup includes my three screens and an awesome noisy mechanical keyboard.
What has been one of your proudest moments working at CiiRUS?
All of my proudest moments working at CiiRUS involve translating our clients' vision into their new website. It makes me really happy to be part of those moments with every project.
What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?
In addition to my CiiRUS career, I’m a full-time student. In my free time, I’m usually studying or working on assignments. And when I have finished, I get to relax and watch TV or I hangout with my friends.
What inspires you?
Sharing new ideas and knowledge inspires me. It amazes me how much we get to learn from every individual and the different ideologies they bring to the table.
What is something you learned in the last week?
Lately, I have been learning a new programming language. It’s really awesome, and so far, I’m loving it.
If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?
If I could pick one superpower, I would choose to have the power of Telekinesis for sure! I would love to be able to control anything at a subatomic, particle, and universal level by just using my mind.
How do you define success?
Success is based on your own goals and achievements. If you can accomplish your goals, it means you were successful at that. Yet, success varies from person to person because we all have different goals in life.
What are five words (or less) of advice for others in your profession?
Do it with passion!
