Q: Does the license allow use on multiple computers?
A: Yes, you can use the software on as many computers as you wish, simultaneously.

Q: Can we easily change the licensed number of properties?
A: Yes, you can increase or decrease your license count as often as you like. To increase your license you may do so at any time with immediate effect (you just pay the extra license fee based on how far through the month you are). To decrease your licensed property count this can be done on your next payment due date.

Q: Can you assist with the initial set up of Ciirus Property Manager (data input), and what is the cost?
A: Yes, we can assist you with this. Price will depend on how good your data is and exactly what you would like us to assist with. As a guide, if you have your property details (rates, bookings and other details) in electronic format then the price is $25 per hour and approx 1 hour per property to input data (rates, bookings, basic property details).

Q: Once we purchase the license are we tied in to a contract?
A: No, there is no minimum contract. If you no longer have a need for Ciirus Property Manager you simply do not renew. Note the 1 off upfront payment of $99 is not refundable.

Q: What if I am late with a monthly payment?
A: If your license expires then you will not be able to access the management functions of Ciirus until your license is renewed (your data will be retained for 6 months after your license expires then it is removed from our servers).

Data Security

Q: Where is the data stored?
A: We have dedicated servers hosted with large, reputable providers. The servers have emergency power and are stored in secure data centers.

Q: What happens if we lose our Internet connection?
A: We provide a backup option within Ciirus Property Manager that we strongly encourage you to use. Each time you do a backup, your most important data is downloaded to your local PC. If you temporarily have no Internet accesses we provide a free data viewer so as long as you have access to your PC or laptop then you can view a read-only copy of your data. This includes current guests in each property, upcoming arrivals, scheduled cleans, contacts, property details, works orders and scheduled events.

Q: Is data encrypted over the Internet?
A: Sensitive data such as credit card details, utility account details, lockbox and alarm codes are transmitted using SSL from the secure server.

Q: Can we limit logon to Ciirus Property Manager based on IP address?
A: We provide an option to limit logon to a list of IP addresses that you specify. If you have a fixed IP address you can set this to be the only location from where you log on. This means if an unauthorized person obtains your username and password, then unless they are on your PC or in your premises they will not be able to log on.
